The ALPS-II T-Plate is a specialty fracture plate commonly used for fractures of the distal radius and ulna offering the following benefits:

Bendable and Cuttable: The T-plates are made from Titanium Grade 4 allowing for contouring of the plate to the perfectly fit the bone shape. Additionally, the plates can be cut to length for sizes 5 to 9.
Angulation and Compression: In combination with a KLS Bead it is not only possible to compress the fracture to reduce interfragmentary motion but it is also possible to set a screw at an angle.
Compatibility: As part of the ALPS Product Range the ALPS-II T-Plates are compatible with the other products of the ALPS product range. From size 5 to 11 – No additional instruments are needed.

Principles

The ALPS-II T-Plate is part of the ALPS Product Range and is anchored by KYON Locking Screws KLS™. All plates use ALPS® Technology, which includes a unique design that minimizes the contact area of the plate with the periosteum to preserve the vascular supply, reduce the risk of infection and accelerate healing.
